Role Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor leads the housekeeping team and ensures public areas consistently meet presentation and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule housekeeping attendants across shifts and ensure peak-period coverage.
- Oversee public-area cleanliness, including restrooms, pool deck, cabanas, and guest-facing spaces.
- Train and mentor staff on cleaning standards, procedures, and safety practices.
- Inspect areas, address service gaps, and maintain cleaning schedules and checklists.
- Manage cleaning supplies, toiletries, and linen stock and ordering.
- Coordinate with Floor, Maintenance, and Guest Relations teams on cleanliness and facility issues.
- Ensure hygiene, health, and safety compliance and support onboarding and performance management.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality venues.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, attention to detail, and consistency.
- Ability to manage teams in high-volume, fast-paced conditions.
- Good understanding of hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Good English communication skills and flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
