The Assistant Manager – Floor supports the operational running of the floor and ensures smooth, high-standard service across day-to-night operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Floor or Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily floor operations across shifts.
- Manage shift-level staffing, floor allocation, and service flow across sections.
- Oversee the Head Waiter and waitstaff team to maintain service standards and pace.
- Handle escalated guest issues and service recovery on the floor.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and Guest Relations to align floor operations with guest flow.
- Support pre-service briefings and floor readiness before peak periods and events.
- Monitor floor presentation, cleanliness, and setup standards throughout service.
- Support end-of-shift reporting and handover to management.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.
Ideal candidate
- Require 3–4 years of floor or service experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management capacity.
- Require experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, or high-end beach club or restaurant venues.
- Require leadership ability to manage a floor team under high-volume, fast-paced conditions.
- Require good English communication skills.
- French, Arabic, or Russian is an advantage.
- Require flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
