Maintain the cleanliness, comfort, and appearance of guest rooms and assigned hotel areas.
Prepare rooms to hotel service standards to provide guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas; make beds, replace linens and towels, and replenish amenities.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and floors; ensure rooms are arranged and ready for guests.
- Respond to guest requests professionally while respecting privacy; handle guest belongings carefully and follow lost-and-found procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged furnishings, equipment defects, and room-status updates to the supervisor.
- Maintain trolleys, equipment, supplies, linen rooms, pantries, and storage areas; safely handle chemicals and dispose of waste properly.
- Assist with deep and periodic cleaning and other assignments; follow grooming, health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
- Support sustainability by using cleaning materials, water, and other resources responsibly; perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned hotel areas to hotel standards.
- Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally while respecting privacy and comfort.
- Handle guest belongings carefully and follow lost-and-found procedures.
- Follow safe cleaning-chemical handling, grooming, health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and use resources responsibly.
