Job Description** **Role Overview
As a Pool & Beach Hostess at Banyan Tree Dubai, you are responsible for creating a warm, seamless, and welcoming arrival experience for guests in the resort’s outdoor leisure areas.
You will manage guest flow across pool and beach zones, coordinate seating and cabanas, and ensure every guest feels personally recognised and cared for from the moment they arrive.
You are the key connection between guests and the service team, ensuring smooth operations and an effortless luxury experience.
Guest Welcome & Arrival Experience
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival at the pool and beach areas.
- Provide a polished, friendly, and professional first impression.
- Assist guests with seating allocation, sunbeds, cabanas, and umbrellas.
- Ensure guests are settled comfortably and have all necessary amenities.
Seating & Guest Flow Management
- Manage allocation of sunbeds, cabanas, and beach/pool seating.
- Coordinate with the Pool & Beach Supervisor to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Monitor availability and maintain accurate awareness of occupied/reserved areas.
- Communicate wait times or availability clearly and professionally.
Guest Experience Support
- Anticipate guest needs such as towels, shade, and seating preferences.
- Assist with guest requests and ensure prompt coordination with service colleagues.
- Handle guest feedback or concerns with professionalism and escalate where needed.
- Create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.
Operational Support
- Ensure pool and beach entrance areas are clean, organised, and well-presented.
- Support setup and breakdown of guest areas as required.
- Maintain proper display of towels, menus, and guest information materials.
- Assist with coordination between guests and service teams during peak periods.
Communication & Coordination
- Work closely with waiters, supervisors, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Relay guest preferences and special requests to service teams.
- Support efficient communication during busy service periods.
Qualifications** **Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a hostess or guest relations role in luxury hotels, beach clubs, or resorts preferred.
- Experience in outdoor or high-volume leisure environments is an advantage.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Excellent spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance suitable for a luxury resort environment.
