Guest reception and dining room
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat guests at clean, available tables.
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance.
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings; organize seating for groups with special needs.
- Ensure place settings have clean silverware, napkins, and other standard items.
- Check that menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day and monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
Standards and teamwork
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and welcome guests according to company standards.
- Use clear, professional communication and appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, respond to employee concerns, and meet quality expectations.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and physical duties
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is required.
- The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
