Guest reception and dining room
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
- Ensure place settings are complete and menus are clean, current, and presentable.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining rooms.
Workplace standards and teamwork
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Complete safety training and certifications; maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
- Communicate professionally, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and support team goals.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and meet quality expectations.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is required.
