Guest service and dining-room operations
- Greet guests, determine party size, guide guests through the dining room, and provide assistance.
- Seat guests at clean, available tables and arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including for groups with special needs.
- Ensure place settings are complete and menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
- Maintain clean work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures and monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
Policies, communication, and physical duties
- Follow company and safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and welcome guests according to company standards.
- Use clear, professional language and appropriate telephone etiquette; build positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Meet quality expectations, perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; handle objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is listed.
