Guest reception and dining room service
- Welcome guests, determine party size, and guide them through dining areas to clean, available seating.
- Prepare tables by arranging chairs, current menus, clean cutlery, napkins, and other standard place settings.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and place settings for groups with special needs.
- Check menus for accuracy and ensure they are clean, complete, and in good condition.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest wellbeing in dining areas.
Workplace standards and teamwork
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures.
- Follow company and safety procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and company property, and use appropriate phone protocol.
- Communicate professionally, build positive working relationships, support shared team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
- Meet quality expectations and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Desirable qualifications
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- Prior experience in food-service settings is valued but not required.
- A high school diploma or GED is listed as desirable.
- No license or certification is specified.
