Hedge Fund Finance Analyst

About This Role

Kopieformme is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hedge Fund Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Doha. This role will focus on analyzing and managing the financial aspects of hedge fund operations, including performance tracking, risk assessment, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of hedge fund strategies, and experience with financial reporting and analysis in the hedge fund industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze the financial performance of hedge fund portfolios, including returns, risks, and exposures
• Prepare detailed financial reports, performance metrics, and commentary for hedge fund investors and senior management
• Assist in calculating NAV (Net Asset Value) for hedge fund portfolios on a regular basis
• Monitor fund cash flows, investments, and asset allocations to ensure alignment with fund strategies
• Track and reconcile hedge fund trades, positions, and balances across multiple asset classes
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of hedge fund strategies, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments
• Support fund managers with portfolio performance analysis, risk modeling, and scenario analysis
• Assist in preparing reports for regulatory compliance and investor communications
• Coordinate with custodians, prime brokers, and other external parties to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
• Assist in fund audits and the preparation of financial statements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience in hedge fund accounting, finance, or analysis
• Strong understanding of hedge fund structures, financial instruments, and performance measurement
• Experience with financial modeling, performance attribution, and risk analysis
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• CFA, CAIA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
• Experience with hedge fund administration, risk management, or compliance
• Familiarity with hedge fund software (e.g., Investran, eFront, or similar platforms)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
