Equity L/S Analyst - US Semiconductors & Software
Tier 1 Multimanager Hedge Fund
Dubai, UAE [initially London until end 2026, if preferred]
Our client, a Tier 1 multimanager platform, is looking to add a TMT analyst with strong sector expertise in US semiconductors and software equities. Current coverage should ideally be at least 50% US TMT.
We seek someone with excellent modelling skills and deep sector knowledge, and no prior shorting experience is required. This role would be ideal for a Long-Only deep fundamental analyst looking to switch to L/S investing.
The hiring PM is a hugely successful Senior Portfolio Manager with pedigree across several household-name hedge funds and 15+ years in the industry. He has a specialist scientific / engineering background which gives him a unique perspective on the AI arms race across the entire value chain.
The plan is to base this role in Dubai long-term. However, given the current situation, we can initially hire in London with a view to relocating further down the line.
We are also willing to wait out long (12-month) non-compete periods for the right candidate. Compensation will be market leading and there will be a pathway to eventually running risk.
