We are seeking a polished and service-driven
Headwaiter / Headwaitress
to lead front-of-house service standards and deliver memorable dining experiences aligned with our brand.
Position Summary
The Headwaiter / Headwaitress plays a key role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations during service, maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction, and supporting the restaurant management team.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in upscale dining environments, and passionate about hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the service team during daily operations.
- Deliver attentive, professional, and personalized guest service.
- Ensure all tables receive seamless and efficient service throughout the dining experience.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely order delivery.
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, and coaching on service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, wine pairings, and specials.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining room presentation.
- Support reservation flow and seating coordination when required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist management in achieving service quality and operational goals.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Headwaiter, Senior Waiter, or similar role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food, beverages, and fine dining etiquette.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Mediterranean or luxury hospitality concepts.
- Wine and beverage knowledge.
