Head Waiter – Steakhouse in DIFC (Must be in Dubai)

About the Role:

We are hiring a Head Waiter to lead service excellence at our Premium Steakhouse in DIFC, Dubai. This is not just a senior server position — you will be a floor leader, setting the standard for the service team, mentoring junior waiters, and stepping up as the right hand of the Restaurant Manager during every shift.

We are looking for someone who leads by example, owns their section like a manager owns the floor, and lifts the entire team's performance through their presence.

Important: Candidates must already be based in Dubai. We are not sponsoring relocation from outside the UAE for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Act as the service leader on the floor during every shift.
• Mentor and coach junior waiters on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction.
• Step in as second-in-command to the Restaurant Manager during busy services.
• Lead by example — your section is the model for the rest of the team.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings when required.

Guest Service

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and guide them through the full dining experience.
• Confidently recommend steak cuts, doneness levels, and food pairings.
• Manage VIP and high-priority tables personally.
• Handle guest complaints with grace and recover service when issues arise.

Section & Floor Operations

• Oversee your section with accuracy, anticipation, and pace.
• Drive average check growth through storytelling and natural upselling.
• Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and host teams.
• Support floor flow — anticipate where the team needs help and step in.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as Head Waiter, Captain, or Senior Server strongly preferred. Leadership mindset prioritized over years of experience.
• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and motivate junior team members.
• Service Standards: Strong knowledge of fine dining or premium casual service flow.
• Menu Confidence: Comfortable explaining steak cuts, doneness levels, and pairings — and teaching others to do the same.
• Soft Skills: Calm under pressure, natural authority, excellent communication.
• Memory & Detail: Strong recall for orders, faces, and guest preferences.
• Languages: Fluent English required. Arabic strongly preferred.
• Profile: Professional presence, well-groomed, team-first mentality, ownership mindset.
• Availability: Must be ready to join immediately.
• Location: Must already be based in Dubai. UAE residency required.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
