- Oversee the strategic and operational planning of information technology to achieve the organization's objectives.
- Oversee the design of processes necessary to ensure the efficient delivery of IT services.
- Consult with the direct supervisor and senior management on IT projects within the organization and related government projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies for implementing IT projects and applications within the organization.
- Oversee the planning of IT and information security projects, analyze data, and present progress reports to the department manager and organizational units.
- Regularly monitor the progress of completed external and internal technical projects, issue progress reports, and present them to the department manager and relevant departments and divisions.
- Monitor the development of innovative solutions to facilitate user access to the organization's services.
- Monitor the development and updating of all information technology systems used within the organization.
- Support the department's objectives and procedures to ensure alignment with the strategic plan.
- Develop and update procedures related to the use of information technology by all employees within the organization.
- Oversee the development of IT risk management plans.
- Monitor the implementation of government requirements related to smart services, cybersecurity, and any other relevant requirements.
- Guide the documentation of the organization's policies, procedures, systems, and processes.
- Oversee the establishment of standards and benchmarks for all IT systems and devices, and issue documentation and proposals in coordination with the organizational unit.
- Monitor compliance with government excellence standards for digital transformation.
- Overseeing the preparation of needs assessment studies for the organization in accordance with global best practices.
- Guiding the development of information security procedures and selecting and evaluating security products to protect information systems.
- Overseeing the implementation of procedures for providing technical support for the organization's devices, systems, and information networks.
- Following up with the outsourcing contracts department with IT service providers, coordinating with relevant parties, and ensuring their implementation according to the workflow and timeline.
- Overseeing the development of the organization's website, digital systems and services, and their marketing in line with the Dubai government's "Zero Direct Customer" initiative.
- Overseeing the preparation of the financial budget for systems and equipment in coordination with the relevant department.
- Reviewing implemented requirements and project scopes, and approving related payments.
- Supervising the preparation of periodic reports, statistics, data analysis, and performance indicator measurement .
- Enhancing employee efficiency, nominating them for specialized courses and workshops, and evaluating departmental staff performance.
- Liaising with suppliers and designing new applications for computer systems and software.

- Managing the final acceptance of systems, conducting necessary workshops, and implementing them across the organization.
- Support approved standards systems, including risk management and business continuity.
- Adhere to information security systems, policies, processes, and programs, and ensure that all employees within the organizational unit understand their information security responsibilities.
- Propose and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
