Summary: We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Post-Production to lead and elevate Huda Beauty’s video content function. In this role, you will own the post-production vision across brand campaigns, social-first content, and marketing initiatives, while managing and mentoring a team of four in-house editors.
You’ll work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Social teams to ensure best-in-class output, efficient workflows, and consistent on-time delivery. This role requires deep post-production expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume content environment. You’ll be responsible for setting creative and technical standards, streamlining operations, developing talent, and ensuring creative excellence from concept through final delivery.
This is a hybrid role: highly strategic, yet hands-on when needed - supporting shoots, defining technical approaches, and building a scalable ecosystem of videographers and freelance partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of 4 editors.
- Lead, plan, and manage post-production for a full slate of video projects.
- Manage post-production schedules and traffic control.
- Create and implement processes and workflows that enable the team to work efficiently and independently.
- Guide team development, helping junior members grow towards independence.
- Oversee branded storytelling, ensuring delivery of best-in-class assets in line with brand vision.
- Juggle multiple high-priority post-production projects in various stages, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Identify workflow gaps in post-production and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and refine a distinctive Huda Beauty editing style - color grading, motion graphics/animation, sound design.
- Work closely with the Head of Agency to build efficient project tracking, workflow systems, and deadline rigor.
- Be a force for innovation - integrate AI or other new tools into video production where appropriate.
- Build robust storage solutions and archives
- Maintain a network of freelancers/vendors to scale up for projects when needed.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in post-production management or a closely related field.
- Deep understanding of all areas of post‑production: editing, color grading, VFX, sound design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once under tight deadlines.
- Experience working in agency, brand in-house, or post-production house environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and drive decisions across multiple teams.
- Prior experience managing teams of 5+ direct reports and freelancers.
- Proficient with editing software (Premiere Pro is required; After Effects, etc.).
- Excellent creativity, communication, and attention to detail.
- Social-first mindset with a deep understanding of digital and platform-native video content.
