Head of Bullion Trading & Business Development

About This Role

We are a fully licensed and capitalized physical bullion trading firm. We are seeking a highly connected trading professional to focus exclusively on revenue generation, client acquisition, and trade execution. All administrative, compliance, and logistical operations are handled by our dedicated back-office team, allowing this role to focus 100% on market-facing business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Origination & Execution: Actively originate, negotiate, and execute high-volume physical bullion trades (buy and sell orders) on a daily basis.
• Network Monetization: Leverage an existing network of Deira wholesalers, DMCC traders, and local UAE refineries to drive immediate trading liquidity.
• Business Development: Identify, pitch, and onboard new B2B and institutional clients, including family offices, wealth managers, and wholesale jewelers.
• Margin Optimization: Negotiate competitive spreads, premiums, and discounts to maximize firm profitability on all physical transactions.
• Market Making: Facilitate rapid liquidity solutions, including physical metal swaps and tailored supply agreements for institutional buyers.
• Risk Coordination: Collaborate with the executive team to ensure physical positions are appropriately hedged on relevant exchanges
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary market-facing representative of the firm, maintaining and expanding key industry partnerships.

Candidate Requirements:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience in physical bullion trading, institutional commodities sales, or business development strictly within the Dubai market.
• Established Network: Must possess an active, verifiable portfolio of direct contacts and decision-makers across the UAE precious metals ecosystem.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrable history of high-volume trade execution, successful B2B client acquisition, and consistent revenue generation.
• Market Expertise: Deep technical understanding of LBMA and UAE Good Delivery standards, local premium fluctuations, and spot pricing mechanics.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of physical arbitrage, margin calculations, and basic hedging principles.
• Professional Attributes: Exceptional negotiation skills, highly self-motivated, decisive, and capable of operating autonomously in a fast-paced trading environment.
