About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Human Resources to lead and drive the people agenda for a large and dynamic organization.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business objectives while ensuring the delivery of best-in-class people practices across the employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will oversee all core HR functions, including business partnering, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, and HR operations.

This role requires a strong leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence and foster a high-performance culture across the organization.

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute the organization's people strategy in alignment with business goals and priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all people-related matters.
  • Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Talent Management & Organizational Development

  • Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and talent review processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Oversee learning and development initiatives that build organizational capability and leadership effectiveness.
  • Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives to enhance employee experience and performance.

Performance & Reward

  • Ensure effective performance management frameworks are implemented and embedded across the business.
  • Partner with reward teams to support compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that are competitive and aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on talent calibration, promotion decisions, and performance outcomes.

Employee Relations & Governance

  • Provide strategic oversight of employee relations matters and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and corporate governance requirements.
  • Lead HR risk management and support the resolution of complex employee issues.

HR Operations & Transformation

  • Oversee HR operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and employee-centric service delivery.
  • Drive HR transformation initiatives, including process improvement, digitalization, and people analytics.
  • Utilize workforce data and insights to support decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree and/or professional HR qualification is preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership experience within large and complex organizations.
  • Proven track record of leading HR teams and driving strategic people initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align HR strategy with business priorities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
