New, large-scale steel manufacturing company in Jeddah with production starting around January.
Seeking a Finance Manager to build and run the finance function from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Set up the finance function: chart of accounts, ERP configuration, policies, approval matrix, and internal controls.
- Lead the finance department.
- Lead cost accounting.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts and manage cash flow and working capital.
- Track capex and project costs through to plant start-up.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, suppliers, and government bodies.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and ZATCA requirements (VAT, e-invoicing, withholding tax, and zakat).
- Deliver accurate monthly management reports and KPIs to the CEO and leadership team.
- Lead, develop, and coordinate the accounting team (AR, AP, costing, treasury).
- Develop team skills and automate processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of finance experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Fluent English, spoken and written, along with Arabic.
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP).
- Experience leading a finance team.
- Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous start-up experience.
- Steel, metals, or heavy industry background.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, SOCPA, ACCA, or CA.
- Knowledge of Saudi VAT, zakat, and customs.
- Arabic language skills.
