Instructional Design Supervisor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze learning and skills gaps based on training needs.
• Design the overall framework of training content in line with program objectives and define content sequence and methodology.
• Write and refine learning objectives using recognized methodologies such as ADDIE and Bloom's Taxonomy.
• Review and validate instructional scenarios and written content for accuracy and audience suitability.
• Design supporting visual materials and content for the learning material.
• Supervise the design of interactive learning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Ensure content meets UX/UI standards, ease of interaction, and self-paced learning requirements.
• Assign daily and weekly tasks to team members such as E-Learning Specialists, track progress, and ensure delivery against timelines.
• Review and approve technical and instructional deliverables against approved visual and learning standards.
• Provide technical and pedagogical guidance to the team and continuously develop their skills.
• Apply global best practices in the design of digital training programs.
• Coordinate with other departments and collaborate with external providers or subject-matter experts when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Education, or E-Learning.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in interactive design tools such as Articulate Suite, Adobe Suite, and LMS platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of designing programs based on adult learning and blended learning methodologies.
• Ability to write learning objectives and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
