Role overview

What you'll do

• Lead the Data Governance Framework and improve data quality and trust.
• Oversee enterprise data architecture, integration, platforms, and reporting environments.
• Lead BI, dashboards, analytics, and self-service reporting development.
• Identify responsible opportunities for advanced analytics, automation, and AI.
• Manage data-related regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements.
• Report progress, risks, opportunities, and benefits to Executive and Senior Leadership Teams.
• Manage budgets, business cases, suppliers, and strategic data programmes.
• Lead a multidisciplinary function that currently includes the Data Governance Manager, Performance Manager, and Senior BI Engineer.

What we need

• Significant experience leading a Data and Analytics function in a complex organisation, with a proven record developing and delivering enterprise data strategies.
• Strong experience in data governance, data quality, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience with Power BI, Azure, or equivalent cloud data platforms.
• Experience leading organisation-wide transformation and cultural change.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and emerging data technologies.
