Responsibilities
- Design, build and improve BI capability, data pipelines and transformations for consistent, trusted reporting.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports on performance, quality and outcomes.
- Build and optimise data models for scalable analytics.
- Improve data quality through validation, monitoring and practical error reduction.
- Work with stakeholders to define reporting needs and measures and support better decisions.
- Document solutions, troubleshoot reporting and improve its performance, reliability and usability.
- Follow data standards, permissions and safe data-handling practices.
Experience and approach
- Experience sought in BI engineering and/or data warehousing, data pipelines and ETL/ELT transformations.
- Experience sought with dashboarding and visualisation tools such as Power BI or equivalent, and SQL for analytics workloads.
- Experience sought in data modelling, metric definitions, data-quality checks, monitoring and root-cause investigation.
- Able to work across technical and business needs, explain decisions clearly, collaborate and deliver useful outcomes.
