Job Description
The role is responsible for overseeing the implementation of procurement procedures, including the provision of required materials and services for the center in the appropriate quantities, at competitive prices, and within the specified timeframe. it also involves developing contract-related procedures, monitoring their implementation, and updating the as needed.
& Responsibilities
- Prepare annual work plans and programs for implementing procurement procedures in alignment with the strategic plans, contributing to the achievement of the center's objectives.
- Monitor the execution of procurement and contracts tasks in line with the approved annual plans and submit the necessary reports and recommendation to the Director of Corporate Support.
- Contribute to the preparation of the estimated budget for the center's needs of materials, equipment, and services, and submit it to the Head of Finance Section.
- Oversee direct and indirect procurement processes to ensure required quantities are obtained at appropriate prices, issue purchase orders, and monitor the full documentation cycle.
- Monitor the performance of companies contracted by the center to supply materials and provide services, ensure their compliance with contract terms, and prepare report on any violations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, including at least 3 years in supervisory role.
About Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center
HHC was established on 6th of April, 2013 under the decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
It was a day that marked a paradigm shift, not only in the procession of Emirati heritage but also in the common heritage of humanity.
From the Center’s name, it is clear that the tasks outshine traditional gathering and inscription of heritage to reviving it anew.
To making it, yet again, a living being in the lives of nationals who remain, above all, extremely proud of their identity as Emiratis.
Minutes following its birth, HHC, began implementing its pre-set strategy, of raising the level of awareness around UAE’s genuine heritage nationally, regionally and internationally.
