Hair Stylist with Hair Extension Experience

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hair Stylist with proven experience in hair extensions to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hair artistry, stays current with trends and techniques, and delivers exceptional client service while specializing in the application, maintenance, and styling of hair extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their desired look, hair goals, and suitability for extensions
• Apply a variety of hair extension methods (e.g., tape-in, keratin bond, micro-link, sew-in/weave)
• Cut, color, and blend extensions seamlessly with natural hair
• Provide maintenance services, including repositioning, removal, and aftercare guidance
• Recommend appropriate hair products and home care routines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation
• Stay updated on the latest extension techniques, trends, and products
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
• Manage appointments and maintain accurate client records

Requirements:

• Valid cosmetology or hairstyling license (as required by local regulations)
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong focus on hair extensions
• Proficiency in multiple extension methods and hair types
• Strong consultation and communication skills
• Knowledge of hair care products and chemical treatments
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in professional hair extension techniques
• Portfolio showcasing previous extension work
• Experience with premium hair brands and products
• Social media presence showcasing hairstyling work
