Join Cundall’s Structural Engineering team in its Riyadh office.
The team develops sustainable, cost-effective building engineering solutions across the lifecycle of projects.
Work on construction projects in Saudi Arabia and worldwide, with colleagues across a multidisciplinary practice.
Role responsibilities
- Provide structural engineering consultancy input on education, healthcare, workplace, retail, and critical-systems projects, including data centres.
- Undertake detailed structural engineering design and analysis under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Translate client needs into building, facility, and services designs with sustainability as a priority.
Candidate requirements
- MEng degree level or equivalent in Structural Engineering, accredited or in progress toward achievement.
- Passion for innovative and sustainable engineering in the built environment and appreciation of core structural engineering principles.
- Relevant work experience or a placement/internship is desirable.
- Organized and methodical, able to manage priorities and meet deadlines while considering commercial design factors.
- Collaborative, empathetic to client needs, and able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; uses initiative and maintains a positive attitude.
Digital engineering
- Understanding of parametric modelling techniques such as Grasshopper or Dynamo, or at least one modern programming language such as Python, C#, or VB, is desirable.
- Understanding of engineering optimisation, structured programming, and basic machine learning is desirable.
