About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven
General Manager – Nissan
to lead the overall performance, growth, and profitability of one of the UAE's most established automotive brands.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, this role is responsible for defining and executing the brand's strategic direction, driving sales performance across multiple locations, strengthening market position, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
The successful candidate will lead a large sales organisation while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver ambitious business objectives and long-term sustainable growth.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity suited to a proven automotive sales leader with a strong track record in dealership operations, team leadership, business planning, and commercial performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall performance, profitability, and growth of the Nissan business across multiple locations within the UAE.
- Develop and execute short and long-term business strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Drive achievement of sales, market share, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Lead and develop Retail Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Fleet teams, and support functions to build a high-performing sales organisation.
- Monitor business performance through effective forecasting, reporting, and KPI management.
- Identify market opportunities and implement initiatives to strengthen competitive positioning and business growth.
- Oversee showroom performance, customer experience, and operational excellence across all locations.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Logistics, HR, and Operational teams to ensure effective execution of business plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners, key customers, and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, talent development, succession planning, and leadership capability within the sales organisation.
- Manage escalated customer matters and support the team in securing strategic business opportunities and key deals.
- Provide regular performance reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
What We'Re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years as an Automotive General Manager
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving demanding commercial targets.
- Strong dealership operations and automotive retail experience.
- Excellent business and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused with a strategic and results-driven mindset.
