About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused
Parts Consultant, Counter Sales
with 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role and exposure to a multi-brand automotive environment.
This role plays a key part within the Parts team, working closely with Service, Logistics, Finance, suppliers, and customers.
You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, sourcing parts through supplier engagement, and managing the full sales cycle—from enquiry through to order confirmation, purchase closure, and aftersales support—ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience.
Job Purpose
To deliver efficient, customer-focused parts sales support at the counter, ensuring accurate sourcing, order processing, and a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at the parts counter, ensuring prompt and accurate support
- Understand customer needs and accurately identify required parts
- Source parts by liaising with internal teams and external suppliers
- Engage suppliers to confirm availability, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Prepare quotations, confirm orders, and complete sales transactions
- Manage the full customer journey from enquiry through to purchase completion and aftersales support
- Promote and upsell parts, accessories, and current campaigns to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts, pricing, and specifications
- Ensure all customer and transaction data is accurately recorded in ERP systems
- Coordinate with internal departments to fulfil customer requirements efficiently
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and QHSE requirements
Work Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a parts sales or similar customer-facing role
- Experience in a multi-brand automotive environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Proven ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in engaging with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
