Key Responsibilities
- Receive, count, verify, and record daily cash collections from branches and departments.
- Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile cash balances against system records.
- Handle petty cash and maintain supporting documentation for payments.
- Verify cash, credit card, online payment, and other payment transactions.
- Prepare daily cash deposit records and ensure timely submission to the bank.
- Investigate and report cash shortages, excesses, or discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of cash receipts, payments, and transfers.
- Coordinate cash-related matters with Accounts, Branch Managers, and other departments.
- Ensure transactions have approved documents and authorization under company procedures.
- File cash reports, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Assist with monthly and year-end cash reconciliation and financial closing.
- Follow company procedures and internal controls; maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a General Cashier or in a similar accounting position.
- F&B or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of cash handling, reconciliation, and basic accounting procedures.
- Experience with accounting software and POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; high integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality.
Pay
- Full-time role paying AED 1,400–1,800 per month.
