Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with strong hands-on experience in Odoo Accounting and a solid background in UAE VAT filing and corporate tax compliance.
The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant UAE experience, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and
*can join immediately or within a 30‑day notice period.*
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Odoo ERP (invoicing, payments, reconciliations, journal entries).
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
- Handle UAE VAT filing, VAT return preparation, and ensure compliance with FTA regulations.
- Support UAE Corporate Tax documentation and submissions.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Generate financial reports through Odoo and provide insights to management.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of UAE experience in accounting, VAT filing, and tax compliance.
- Proficient in Odoo Accounting (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and corporate tax framework.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 30‑day notice preferred.
