Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible General Accountant to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Perform supplier and customer reconciliations
- Record and review accounting transactions accurately
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documents
- Follow up on outstanding collections and payments
- Assist with VAT documentation and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with external accountants and auditors when required
- Support financial controls and reporting processes
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience with AR, AP, reconciliations, and monthly closing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Odoo ERP is highly preferred
- Experience in F&B or hospitality industry is an advantage
