We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage
the day-to-day financial operations of our electronics retail and distribution
business.
The role ensures accurate accounting, effective financial control, and
compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, payments,
- and journal entries.
- Manage general ledger, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Initiate and process payments through online banking platforms after proper
- verification and authorized approvals.
- Reconcile retail sales, inter-branch transactions, and distribution accounts.
- Monitor inventory, warehouse stock, and fixed assets, including periodic stock audits.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and support annual financial statements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including accurate
- calculation and timely filing.
- Coordinate with sales and logistics teams for billing accuracy, credit control, and stock
- movement reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 2–5 years of UAE experience in trading, retail, or distribution (electronics preferred).
- Working knowledge of Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
