We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Generate accurate accounting reports and present findings in a clear and error-free manner.
- Analyze financial data and summarize the financial status of the organization.
- Identify errors and propose methods to enhance efficiency and optimize spending.
- Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant.
- Evaluate accounting systems and procedures and recommend necessary modifications.
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
- Contribute to the establishment of financial standards and participate in the forecasting process.
- Provide input for goal setting within the department.
- Prepare financial statements and create budgets according to established timelines.
- Assist with tax audits and the preparation of tax returns.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Process transactions, issue checks, and update ledgers and budgets.
- Prepare financial reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Bachelor’s degree accounting, finance, or any related field.
- Proficient in bookkeeping software, accounting software, and strong typing skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
