General Accountant (Filipino Nationality Preferred)

General Accountant
to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledgers.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Monitor and process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Support VAT-related documentation and compliance requirements.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Assist with audits and other finance-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Filipino nationality preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–6 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the UAE.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
