GenAI Solutions Architect - BytePlus - Chinese Speaker (Third-Party Associate)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional sales teams to qualify leads, identify client needs, and develop technical solutions that deliver business results.
• Lead enterprise client engagements from pre-sales solutioning through project implementation.
• Deliver demonstrations, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, architecture workshops, and proofs of concept.
• Advise clients using technical expertise and business acumen throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product teams, communicate feature requests, and provide cloud and machine-learning industry insight.
• Help close product-market-fit gaps and drive product development and iterations.
• Provide post-sales solution support and drive upselling and cross-selling with account executives.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and strong business acumen.
• At least 5 years of related work experience in a similar or related field.
• Past experience in cloud computing and its related technology ecosystem.
• Strong regional experience across the Middle East and Africa.
• Chinese proficiency is required for communication with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
• Problem-solving ability, resilience, strategic thinking, and analytical skills; comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Understanding of cloud applications and big data technologies; a computer science or engineering-equivalent degree is preferred.
• Large-enterprise experience in e-commerce, retail, media, entertainment, or gaming is preferred.
• Solutions architect or B2B pre-sales solution engineering experience, ideally in AI/ML, video cloud, edge computing, or cloud computing, is preferred.
• Public cloud knowledge and familiarity with CDN, WAF, DDoS, livestreaming, RTC, VOD, ML recommendations, computer vision, NLP, or generative AI are preferred.

Assignment arrangement

• The 12-month temporary assignment is managed by a third-party agency, which handles contractual terms, payroll, and benefits.
• The successful candidate will not be a ByteDance employee, though they may be assigned to work at ByteDance.
