Full-Time Childcare Educator / Nanny Educator

Role overview

Learning and development

• Lead reading, English and phonics activities, number recognition, writing practice, storytelling, vocabulary building, songs, memory games, and school-readiness activities.
• Build concentration, listening, independent and imaginative play, sharing, patience, turn-taking, emotional regulation, and age-appropriate responsibility.
• Supervise homework, revise school topics, assist with reading, writing, phonics, numbers, and other age-appropriate subjects; prepare and organise school materials.
• Manage school preparation, meals, naps, indoor and outdoor play, bathing assistance, evening routines, and bedtime preparation.
• Teach manners, respectful communication, table manners, tidying, patience, and respect for others and their belongings.
• Organise children’s toys, books, supplies, laundry, cupboards, and belongings; prepare simple healthy meals and snacks.
• Plan weekly arts and crafts, sensory play, games, puzzles, library visits, outdoor play, and indoor alternatives; limit unnecessary screen time.

Candidate requirements

• Previous experience as a childcare educator, nursery teacher, teaching assistant, nanny/educator, or similar childcare professional.
• Strong interest in early childhood education and child development; clear spoken English and communication with children.
• Able to independently plan educational and creative activities and support both learning and daily routines.
• Patient, caring, energetic, organised, responsible, and able to maintain appropriate boundaries while providing warm, positive care.
• Good understanding of children’s hygiene, safety, routines, and age-appropriate behaviour.
• Phonics and early-years learning methods are advantageous; Hindi-speaking ability is advantageous.

Pay

• Pay is up to AED 3,500 per month.
