The Front Stage Agent is a guest-facing member of the hotel team, supporting guest experience from arrival through departure.
Guest service
- Welcome and register guests, providing a smooth and personalized arrival experience.
- Handle guest enquiries and requests throughout their stay.
- Explain hotel facilities, services, and outlets, and assist with room orientation.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively create memorable experiences.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.
Front desk operations
- Assist with check-in, check-out, payments, cashiering, and accurate bill settlement.
- Update guest information in OPERA PMS and keep the Guest Services Desk operational.
- Support room revenue through upselling.
- Maintain cashier records and cash float and follow daily audit procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, duty managers, and other hotel departments.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 1 year of reception, front office, or guest services experience; luxury or international five-star hotel experience is preferred.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written English and Arabic; French, Spanish, or German is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of OPERA PMS and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Guest-focused, confident, and polished, with attention to detail and composure in a fast-paced environment.
