Role Overview
The Omni team is seeking a Front-End Engineer II to build customer-facing web experiences and internal tools supporting Luna and Amazon Games.
The role works with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and partner teams from requirements through production.
The engineer can influence application architecture, user experience, reusable patterns, engineering quality, and developer productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing web applications and reusable front-end components.
- Build marketing experiences for game, content, and product launches.
- Develop internal tools for UTF, Customer Support, and operational workflows.
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
- Own features end-to-end through design, implementation, deployment, and operational support.
- Improve performance, accessibility, maintainability, and engineering quality.
- Reduce manual effort through better tooling and automation.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Basic Qualifications
- Have at least three years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Have at least one year of experience with computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Have experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have at least one year of experience with agile software development methodology.
- Have experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
Compensation
- The listed annual base salary range is USD 143,700 to USD 194,400 for Irvine, California and Seattle, Washington locations.
- Total compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location.
