Responsibilities
- Lead freighter operations across Loadmasters, Special Loads, Charter Operations, and FCLC, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient operations.
- Drive operational performance, productivity, service quality, and continuous process improvement.
- Plan and execute strategic initiatives, improvement programmes, and operational projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, training, operational, and weight and balance requirements.
- Oversee weight and balance processes, operational controls, and documentation accuracy.
- Coordinate stakeholders to align operations, optimise resources, and deliver initiatives.
- Lead team performance, talent development, employee engagement, and succession planning.
- Support audits, investigations, risk assessments, change management, and corrective actions.
- Lead business continuity, disruption management, contingency response, and resilience activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and at least 7 years of job-related experience.
- Proven experience in operational leadership and team management.
- Experience in aviation, cargo operations, logistics, supply chain, air transport, or freighter operations is preferred.
- Experience driving process improvements and change initiatives is preferred.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- High standards of integrity, governance, safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
