About the role

Serve as the dedicated technical engine and trusted advisor for a strategic enterprise client.

Own the technical relationship end-to-end, combining production-grade engineering, problem-solving, and high-impact client engagement.

The role may span agent building, product ownership, and requirements analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical authority and advisor for an enterprise customer, translating technical capabilities into strategic client value.
  • Identify account technical gaps and business opportunities; work with presales on architectures, solution pitches, and platform expansion.
  • Scope, design, and build tailored demos, production-grade prototypes, and proofs of concept.
  • Work with customer engineering, security, and infrastructure teams on deployment pipelines, integrations, and data flows, emphasizing GCP.
  • Debug deployment, infrastructure, integration, and performance issues to unblock customer teams.
  • Relay customer engineering requirements to product and core engineering teams and advocate for features that enable enterprise adoption.

Technical expertise

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, backend systems, cloud architecture, or SRE.
  • Strong proficiency in a modern enterprise language such as Python, Java, TypeScript/Node.js, Rust, or Golang.
  • Deep GCP experience, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to architect REST/gRPC APIs, microservices, enterprise security integrations such as SAML, OAuth, and VPCs, and data pipelines.

Client and advisory skills

  • Present architectural strategies to CTOs and VP-level stakeholders and discuss code with senior developers.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, grit, ownership, and inventive problem-solving.
  • Bring exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a record of building trust with client engineering teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, distributed systems, high-throughput data processing, or cybersecurity.
  • Prior forward deployment, technical pre-sales, or high-touch technical account management experience at a SaaS or deep-tech enterprise company.
  • Financial services, payments, or FinTech experience.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Huawei cloud platforms.

Year-one success measures

In the first 90 days, build trust with the customer's technical team, learn its technology stack and architecture, and ship a production integration or PoC.

By six months, become the account's go-to technical expert, reduce time-to-value, and drive architectural alignment.

By one year, expand the customer's use of the solutions through successful PoCs, system stability, and proactive feature delivery.
