About This Role
Overview
In support of our landscaping projects and dedicated floral venture, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Florist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing floral arrangements, selecting and maintaining flowers and plants, and supporting both landscaping aesthetics and floral business operations.
The role requires strong creativity, organizational skills, and knowledge of floral design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create bouquets, floral arrangements, centerpieces, and decorative floral elements that complement landscaping and event themes.
- Select suitable flowers and plants based on client preferences, seasonal availability, color combinations, and project requirements.
- Maintain the freshness and health of flowers and plants through proper watering, pruning, cleaning, and pest control practices.
- Collaborate closely with landscape designers, project teams, and clients to understand design concepts and provide suitable floral solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with floral selections, recommendations, and customized arrangements.
- Handle inventory management, including ordering, receiving, storing, and organizing flowers, plants, and related materials.
- Arrange and install floral displays in outdoor and indoor locations as required for projects, events, and client spaces.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the floral workspace and storage areas.
- Stay updated on current floral design trends, techniques, and seasonal products.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Florist or in floral arrangement/design.
- Knowledge of flowers, plants, floral care, and arrangement techniques.
- Creativity with strong attention to detail and color coordination.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to handle floral setup, lifting, and outdoor work when required.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting landscaping or event decoration projects.
- Ability to create customized floral concepts for clients and events.
- Time management and inventory handling skills.
Job Type: Full-time
