Overview
We are seeking a creative and reliable florist to join our private household team, providing floral design, care and delivery services that support the home’s aesthetic and hospitality needs.
Floral Design and Arrangement
- Create a wide range of floral arrangements for the home, events and VIP visits, including bouquets, table centrepieces, standing arrangements and installations, following the household’s style and quality standards.
- Select, prepare and condition fresh flowers and foliage to ensure longevity and visual impact, using appropriate techniques for cutting, hydrating and arranging.
- Maintenance and Care
- Maintain floral displays throughout the property, replacing stems, refreshing water and trimming foliage to preserve presentation and hygiene.
- Monitor flower and plant health, apply basic plant care practices and escalate any pest, disease or maintenance issues to the household manager or gardener.
- Manage appropriate storage and refrigeration of flowers and materials to maintain quality and reduce waste.
Inventory, Procurement and Budget
- Order flowers, foliage and sundry supplies from approved suppliers, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery.
- Keep accurate records of stock levels, orders and invoices and assist with budget monitoring and reconciliation as requested.
- Maintain a tidy and organised floral workspace and ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored safely.
Event and VIP Support
- Support planning and delivery of floral requirements for private events, dinners and official visits, liaising with events, protocol and household teams to meet brief and timings.
- Provide on‑site setup and breakdown for events, ensuring arrangements are installed securely and presented to the highest standard.
Hygiene, Safety and Standards
- Adhere to health and safety procedures when handling tools, floral foam, cleaning products and waste, and follow safe manual handling practices.
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver courteous, discreet service when interacting with household members, guests and suppliers.
