This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence fire safety strategy while making a genuine difference to customers' lives.
This role is based in our Northampton office, with a flexible hybrid working model of three office-based days and two remote working days per week.
Regular travel to our sites across the portfolio will form part of the role, typically around 3-4 days per month.
• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Sage Homes' Fire Safety Management Plan.
• Oversee Fire Risk Assessment programmes, providing assurance on the quality, completion and management of remediation actions.
• Partner with internal teams, contractors, regulators and Fire & Rescue Services to ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety requirements.
• Monitor fire safety performance, identify emerging risks and provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support resident safety through effective communication, fire safety guidance and incident investigation to drive continuous learning and improvement.
About you
• Strong experience managing fire safety compliance within a large residential, housing, property or social housing portfolio.
• Excellent understanding of fire safety legislation, guidance and best practice, including fire risk assessments and building fire safety measures.
• Proven ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, contractors, regulators and external partners.
