Finishing Carpenter (Joinery)

About This Role

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Finishing Carpenter (Joinery) to carry out high-quality carpentry and joinery works for maintenance, fit-out, and renovation projects. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in detailed finishing, installation, and operation of carpentry machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform finishing carpentry and joinery works for residential, commercial projects and company warehouse.

* Install doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels, skirting, and other wooden fixtures

* Carry out repair and maintenance of existing wooden structures

* Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and cutting lists

* Operate carpentry machines such as cutting machines, edge banding, sanding, and drilling machines etc.

* Ensure precise measurements and high-quality finishing

* Conduct on-site modifications and adjustments when required

* Coordinate with supervisors and other trades for smooth project execution

* Maintain tools and machines, ensuring safe usage

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter (Joinery) (fit-out/renovation experience required)

* Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and machinery

* Ability to operate carpentry machines safely and efficiently

* Ability to read drawings and execute work accurately

* Experience in maintenance and repair works

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Physically fit and able to work on-site
