Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Finishing Carpenter (Joinery) to carry out high-quality carpentry and joinery works for maintenance, fit-out, and renovation projects.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in detailed finishing, installation, and operation of carpentry machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform finishing carpentry and joinery works for residential, commercial projects and company warehouse.
- Install doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels, skirting, and other wooden fixtures
- Carry out repair and maintenance of existing wooden structures
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and cutting lists
- Operate carpentry machines such as cutting machines, edge banding, sanding, and drilling machines etc.
- Ensure precise measurements and high-quality finishing
- Conduct on-site modifications and adjustments when required
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades for smooth project execution
- Maintain tools and machines, ensuring safe usage
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter (Joinery) (fit-out/renovation experience required)
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and machinery
- Ability to operate carpentry machines safely and efficiently
- Ability to read drawings and execute work accurately
- Experience in maintenance and repair works
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physically fit and able to work on-site
