Role overview

Financial operations and reporting

• Develop and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting; analyze data, performance metrics, and trends to inform decisions.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure reporting meets accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Present financial reports to management, stakeholders, and external auditors.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions and operational efficiencies.
• Maintain internal controls, safeguard company assets, ensure financial accuracy, and coordinate audits and reviews.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, vendor payments, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
• Implement and maintain financial systems and software, and recommend technology improvements.

Leadership and strategic support

• Lead and develop the finance team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute financial insights to strategic planning; evaluate projects, investments, and acquisitions and assess business decisions.
• Coordinate tax planning, compliance, and timely filing of tax returns while optimizing the tax position within the legal framework.
• Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights and support to other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Extensive finance or accounting experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to make strategic financial decisions.
• Automotive background is highly preferred.
• A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
