Role Overview

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across the business, while also supporting investment tracking and portfolio reporting.

This is a hands-on role within a lean structure, requiring strong ownership of accounting processes alongside the ability to support analysis and reporting across real estate and financial investments.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts
• Record, reconcile, and monitor all financial transactions
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Oversee cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and liquidity tracking
• Handle job costing and tracking of company and property-related income and expenses
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT, and corporate tax regulations
• Prepare and file VAT returns and support corporate tax reporting
• Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and statutory records

Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management

• Track performance of real estate assets (rental income, occupancy, costs, yields)
• Support analysis of investments across equities, fixed income, and other financial instruments
• Contribute to basic financial modelling, return analysis, and performance tracking
• Track and record investment transactions, including equities, IPOs, private placements, and other instruments
• Maintain accurate investment records and reconcile with broker statements
• Support consolidated reporting across property and financial portfolios
• Assist in identifying risks and monitoring overall portfolio exposure
• Prepare summary reports and dashboards for management review

Reporting & Internal Controls

• Prepare timely financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Implement and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management , ideally within real estate, and investments
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT, and UAE corporate tax
• Exposure to investment tracking, portfolio reporting, or financial markets is a strong advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a lean, fast-moving environment
