About the Role
BRITEC is seeking a Finance Officer with strong experience in trading, project‑based accounting, VAT compliance, and QuickBooks Online.
This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer deposits and supplier advances, and ensuring clean monthly reporting.
You will work closely with management, procurement, and operations to support the company’s growth and maintain high financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle using QuickBooks Online
- Record and reconcile customer deposits and apply them to invoices
- Manage supplier advances and match them to bills upon delivery
- Maintain accurate COGS, inventory, and project cost allocations
- Prepare monthly management reports:
- Perform monthly bank, VAT, AP, AR, and inventory reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with ZATCA VAT regulations
- Support procurement and operations with accurate financial data
- Maintain clean, organized, and audit‑ready accounting records
- ability to do a proper financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in trading or contracting companies
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online ( Mandatory )
- Solid understanding of KSA VAT rules
- Experience with:
- Customer deposits
- Supplier advances
• Inventory & COGS
- WIP and project accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines
- **Preferred Skills**
- Experience in multi‑project environments
- Ability to prepare management dashboards
- Familiarity with internal controls and month‑end closing procedures
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
