Finance Officer

Role Summary

Financial Management & Reporting

• Maintain oversight of the accounting and financial operations of the Company and, where applicable, the funds managed by the Company.
• Assist with the preparation and monitoring of operating budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Monitor banking, treasury, and payment activities across relevant entities.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support year-end audits, reviews, and financial reporting processes.
• Assist with financial analysis and management reporting for the Board and management.

Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities

• Ensure financial reporting and regulatory submissions are prepared accurately and submitted within applicable deadlines.
• Support compliance with DFSA rules, DIFC requirements, applicable accounting standards, and internal governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams on matters relating to regulatory obligations and reporting.
• Maintain appropriate financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with responses to regulatory, audit, and internal review requests.

Treasury & Operational Oversight

• Monitor liquidity and treasury requirements of the Company and managed entities.
• Coordinate banking relationships and operational finance matters.
• Assist with payment oversight, reconciliations, and cash management processes.
• Support implementation and maintenance of financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools.
• Monitor financial operational risks and escalate material matters where appropriate.

Governance & Internal Controls

• Support the Board and relevant Committees through preparation of financial information and reports.
• Maintain effective internal controls and audit readiness processes.
• Assist in the implementation and ongoing enhancement of finance-related policies and procedures.
• Support record-keeping and document management requirements relating to finance operations.

Stakeholder & Service Provider Coordination

• Coordinate with external auditors, fund administrators, tax advisers, banks, and other service providers.
• Support information requests relating to audits, valuations, and financial reviews.
• Assist management with financial due diligence and operational information requests where required.
