About This Role
Responsibilities:
- Ensure completeness, accuracy and authenticity and proper maintenance of General Ledger and Cash book.
- Ensure proper classification and timely recording of assets, liabilities items of revenue and expenses in book of accounts.
- Ensure that Statutory annual audit is carried out smoothly by proper planning, scheduling and executing audit engagement in coordination with external auditors.
- Ensure adherence to accounting and financial reporting requirements of the company and parent company
- Consolidation and examination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Management of audits, including internal, external and coordination with auditors to ensure resolution of any issues and timely completion of engagements
- Overseeing annual budget preparation process and monitoring of monthly performance against budget targets and reporting variance analysis
- Project planning and evaluation through financial modelling and analysis.
- Treasury management, including cash flows tracking & planning, working capital management to ensure timely billings and recoveries.
- Management of annual general insurance contracts/policies and claims under the policies
- Zakat & Tax compliances, including review of income and sales tax returns. Ensuring timely response to notices received from the authorities.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Big 4 Audit firm qualified ACA with 4+ years post qualification experience.
- Must have Good Knowledge of IFRS, Corporate and local laws
- Analytical mindset capability of analyzing information / data
- Excellent command on MS Office in particular MS Excel and Power Point
