Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end operation of the Purchase and Payable Process including placement of purchase orders, issuance of goods/ services receipt, invoice recording, timely payment, and reconciliation.
  • Be the focal point of contact for suppliers, maintain cordial relationship and resolve issues on timely basis.
  • Responsible for the Sales and Receivables process which includes invoicing & recording, receipt and follow up, reconciliation and debtor management.
  • Approve JV's, AR, AP, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Banking transactions in the accounting system and maintain all relevant records in legally required form (digital and/or physical).
  • Routine/ Monthly review of Trial Balance, schedules and reconciliation and maintain clean books of accounts.
  • Prepare and review of monthly/ quarterly/ annual management accounts including variance analysis against the budget and submit it to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
  • Lead internal and external audit/ review engagements - financial, compliance or otherwise including necessary coordination with other departments/ stakeholders.
  • Timely closure of audit points identified by the auditors.
  • Take charge of WHT and VAT compliance including monthly return filing & payments and documents & record maintenance.
  • Lead the annual/ quarterly tax and zakat exercise including payment and submission of annual tax/ zakat return on timely basis.
  • Drawdown of loans as per agreed mechanism of the finance document/ CTA and ensure timely debt service.
  • Timely reporting to the Lenders, LTA, LLA and other relevant advisors under the routine covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain good relationships with lenders, LTA & LLA to facilitate smooth operation.
  • Report to Group and other business partners on routine and ad hoc basis on financial and non-financial aspects of the business.
  • Plan and declare maximum dividend distribution to shareholders while preserving debt servicing requirements of the business and optimum utilization of working capital facilities.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (master's degree or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA is preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 -15 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting. Experience in data center is required with experience in the middle eastern market.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation compliance, and audit processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Hands-on expertise in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools.
