About The Role

We are hiring a Finance Manager for a fast-growing, multi-brand retail and trading group in the UAE.

The organization operates across luxury retail segments including perfumes, jewellery, and lifestyle products, with a strong presence through multiple outlets across the region.

This role requires a commercially driven finance professional with strong experience in retail finance, inventory control, and multi-entity financial management.

Financial Reporting & Control

  • Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage consolidation of multiple entities and retail outlets
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies

Retail Finance & Performance Management

  • Monitor store-level profitability and revenue performance
  • Oversee daily sales reconciliation and POS reporting
  • Analyze sales trends and provide actionable insights to leadership

Inventory & Cost Management

  • Manage inventory accounting for high-value and fast-moving products
  • Conduct stock variance analysis and support audit processes
  • Implement controls to minimize shrinkage and stock discrepancies

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
  • Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Partner with business teams on financial planning

Cash Flow & Working Capital

  • Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables
  • Optimize working capital and inventory holding
  • Manage vendor payments and banking relationships

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and filings
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation across entities

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and commercial teams
  • Support pricing strategies and margin optimization
  • Provide financial insights to support business growth

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Drive improvements in ERP and financial reporting systems
  • Enhance automation and reporting efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional certification (CA / ACCA / CPA) preferred
  • 7–12 years of relevant experience in retail, trading, or FMCG sectors
  • Strong experience managing multi-entity or multi-store operations
  • Proven expertise in inventory accounting and retail finance
  • Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and financial accuracy
  • Commercial mindset with business partnering ability
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Reporting, Data Analysis)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
