Manage financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, cost control and profitability analysis for the retail division.
Monitor financial performance across multiple retail outlets and provide insights for business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections; monitor outlet sales, margins, expenses and profitability.
- Analyze performance against budget, identify variances, and prepare monthly reports on revenue, costs and profitability.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, payment commitments and receivables; identify cost savings and margin impacts.
- Establish financial controls over sales, collections, expenses and payments; investigate risks and discrepancies.
- Coordinate accurate reporting and month-end closing with Accounts, and work with Retail Operations, Procurement, Inventory and HR on performance and cost control.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support business planning and decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in retail or multi-outlet operations; UAE retail experience of at least 5 years is required.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and profitability analysis experience; knowledge of financial statements, working capital and internal controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting or ERP systems; SAP is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills; ability to coordinate across departments and present findings to management.
- ACCA, CMA, CPA or CA is advantageous.
Pay
- AED 7,000–10,000 per month.
