Finance Manager / Finance Director

Role Description

Key Responsibilities Include

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, accounting policies, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital, and financial risk management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Support strategic planning, investment evaluations, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate finance initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement through financial process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support commercial decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, taxation, corporate finance, and internal controls.
• Sound understanding of accounting standards, financial governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and translate insights into business strategies.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, commercial acumen, and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive organizational performance in a dynamic environment.
